Sunrise over Kennedy Space Center 15feb2010
I was lucky enough to be in Titusville at sunrise this morning, so I caught the sun rising over Kennedy Space Center.

Yuri's Night 2010
The website for Yuri’s Night 2010 recently updated, and now has a list of parties taking place all over the globe. For anyone who doesn’t know, Yuri’s Night is this massive worldwide celebration of humanity’s achievement in space held on April 12th every year. April 12, 1961 was the night of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space. April 12, 1981 was the first launch of the space shuttle. With the space shuttle program ending this year, the parties this year should be really special. We’re going to the Yuri’s Night party at the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville. The tickets are cheap and it should be a fantastic party.
Helen Waittes has created a chart for us for Yuri’s Night, and is working on patterns for socks, mittens and a scarf. We will have those patterns up very soon.
